Narrate to your partner any incident in your life

Last week on 27th February, I was travelling by car from Mumbai to Pune through old highway. Suddenly a herd of cows crossing the road was seen. All the car drivers were alert and immediately applied brakes.

But one motor biker in high speed could not control his vehicle and hit the herd of cows. Due to which a small calf fell down and was injured. The herdsman came running and became panic.

All the commuters on the road came to help him and called the ambulance as well as the police. The motor biker was taken into custody.

I consoled the herdsman and called his friends to take care of his cows. Ambulance came and that injured calf along with the herdsman was sent to hospital for further treatment.

In mid- February, just a week before the final exams were to begin, I had to accompany my parents to a wedding in Jaipur. I was thrilled about the wedding. All my uncles and aunts and cousins were coming. Needless to say, I was in no mood to miss the wedding or the train journey to Jaipur. I had never travelled in a train overnight!

We had our bags packed and an hour before the departure of the train, sat in the cab, to go to the station. The evening was chilly, but thankfully not rainy. We stopped at the traffic lights. Surprisingly, even after ten minutes, we did not move an inch. I was getting anxious while waiting in the cab. We were told that a rash youngster had banged his car into some pedestrians and people on two-wheelers. The angry passers-by had cornered the culprit and were waiting for the police to come.

When the police came, they quickly took charge of the situation. The culprit was apprehended and traffic was gradually allowed to move. Many people were losing patience, while many others were busy making calls. Everyone was relieved that the wait was over. Though we had lost precious time, it was good to see that the culprit had not escaped.

It had now boiled down to half an hour; twenty minutes’ drive to the railway station and ten minutes to board the train. The driver did his best, without driving rashly. Eventually we made it, with two minutes to go. We could almost hear our hearts beating aloud, as we took our seats, just in the nick of time.
