Narrate two incidents that show how differences can be created and also how they can be resolved. How can people change thier attitudes

'Two incidents' that show how 'differences can be created', and also 'how they can be resolved':
- The new teacher at the school Abdul Kalam studied tried to create differences between the students of different communities. The elders of the society spoke to the teacher and very clearly told him that what he was doing was not correct. They led by example and showed how they had never harbored such differences.
- In another situation, the teacher’s wife was not ready to 'serve food' to Kalam in her kitchen. Here too the teacher stood his ground and told Kalam that if something had to change for the good, one has to hold ground with conviction. He did just that and the teacher's wife slowly accepted his point of view.
People can change their attitudes by understanding the fact that conflicts are bound to arise but one should resolve them forthright.
Answer:
The first incident to show that how differences can be created is
that when the new young teacher found a Muslim student sitting
beside a Hindu student, he asked Kalam to sit in the last raw. His friendRamanadha Sastry was heartbreaken. They informed their respective
parents Lakshmana Sastry summoned the teacher and conveyed the
strong sense of conviction which ultimately reformed him. The other
incident shows that how differences can be resolved. The author’s
science teacher, Sivasubramania Iyer, though an orthodox Brahmin
with a very conservative tried to bridge these differences. People can
change their attitudes by observing no difference in the way of Hindu’s
and a Muslim’s eating of meals, drinking of water and
cleaning of the floor.
