Narrate your experience when you were sick and confined to bed for a week and had to miss an important competition for which you have been preparing for a long time

Once there was the quiz competition which was at province level and i am supposed to represent my school in that competition because i was good at remembering things. I start preparing myself about a month before the day of competition and was very determined . I read and remember every major and possible question to be asked .Reading encyclopedia was my habit in that days . But unfortunately i got sick just before a day of competition . My parents took me to a near hospital where the doctor told that i was sick due to the high temperature and not resting at all. Due to which he recommend a whole week rest to me before doing anything . I got worried about the  competition but unable to do anything now . Afterall health was the major issue there .So even i did not want to do it but i have to left the competition.

Football is my favorite game among all the sports.
Once in the 10th grade i had a really important sports festival and wanted to be part of it no matter what.
We won all the starting matches and on the day of the semi final i celebrated a lot and eventually fell sick.Dr asked me not to leave the bed in order to recover i was heart broken but still had to recover.
But in the end my team won the match and every thing was good and the day was back to happy ending
