had a friend from my city.
One day he came to me and said that he is in a deep trouble. He is trapped in the viscous web of betting.
He narrated his story to me.
When he started, he won nearly ₹1 lakh over night. He was happy and excited. All in all, he managed to win some ₹2 lakh within some short span.
But, one bad day he lost. Not only just what he had won, he had to pay extra money. For paying that extra money, he had to borrow on interest. And, not on 2% interest rate. More than that.
The money lenders were now threatening him to pay as soon as possible.
Now, he had no option but to ask for help from someone. He came to me and asked for the money.
I helped. No, not with the money.
I said him, “Tell your father about this”.
He denied. I convinced him that your father is not going to kill you for this. Everybody makes mistakes. It's just fine. Tell your father, he would definitely help.
And, he said everything to his father.
And, his father helped him. He paid the money.
