NASA’s Deep Impact space mission was employed to take detailed pictures of Tempel 1 comet nucleus.


It is a periodic Jupiter-family comet that was a comet that was discovered in 1867 by Wilhelm Tempel.


As per the research, it completes an orbit of the sun every 5.5 years of time.
