The nasal chamber or nasal cavity is air filled chamber in the middle of the face and is divided into two parts or two fossae by nasal septum.

Nasal septum is formed of quadrangular cartilage that is hyaline cartilage at the front of the nose and is bony towards the back.

Each division or fossae continues to nostrils through which the fresh air is inhaled and moved through the nasopharynx and the whole respiratory tract and than stale air is exhaled out via same nostrils.

Anonymous: but which cartilage?
