Explanation:

In today’s world, we all have become dependant on each other. This is because our needs have multiplied over the years and no country is self-sufficient to produce everything it needs. Therefore, a country needs to import/buy commodities/services which it requires and import/sell commodities/services which it produces in excess. This results in trade and it becomes the necessary condition for survival and sustenance.

Hence, a nation cannot live in isolation in today’s world.

It is obvious that nations cannot live in isolation from other nations and there is a need for global and regional integration and cooperation.

EXPLANATION:

  • We have all become dependent on one another in today's world. This is because over the years our needs have increased, and no country is autonomous to generate everything that it needs.
  • Consequently, a country needs to import / buy goods / services it requires and import/sell goods/ services it excessively produces.
  • This contributes to trade and is essential for survival and sustenance. Therefore a country in today's world cannot exist alone.
