Well, just think before you can reach at verdict yourself:-

) Nature does not require man to survive. . . . . . . . . . .but man can not even exist without the help of nature

) Nature is here since infinity (no one actually knows the guaranteed age of the planet earth and nature here in the current form). . . . . . . man is relatively new a the planet, as per known history of modern days, and it is still very fast changing by way of its life style etc.

) nature has its cycle revolving, where one form of it helps another to take place and thus the whole cycle is self sustaining, without any human or technological aid. . . . . . . . . . but the man however is very exciting, charming and progressive, but it is destructive in itself too. On one hand it (claims to be) creates the world, on the another hand it destroys the world, but after destruction it can not self construct again without nature's help or using its products or by-products.

) For thousands of years human was living without the modern tech, solely depending upon the basic nature and its products, but had no major issue for its survival. . . . . . . . . . . tech came here to help for better life style and standards of living, but now it has already become a danger for the nature and of course for human being also.

) When nature causes destruction, due to flood, volcano even draught, it surely brings some good things back in short or medium term. . . . . . . . . but when man causes destruction, due to pollution (water or air or soil), bombs explosion, nuclear radiation or destruction, heat due to fuel burning, it never ever can bring back some thing good in any time span. It is totally dependent on nature for revival of the atmosphere.

And so on and on, much more can be written . . . . . . . . . . but the underline is all that glitters is not gold. . . . . . . . . .

Nature is necessity, it lets you revive from its bad effects by itself in broad terms. Man bring in technology for the micro level help of nature's bad effect, and then generation by generation we begun to destroy the nature for further improvement of our life and life style.
