The man then decides that he will save the other path for another day, even though he knows that one path leads to another and that he won't get a chance to go back. The man than says that he will be daring the story with a sigh (relief) someday in the future suggesting that he will Wonder What life could have been like it he had choosen the more weak path even though the path he choose has made all the difference.
