Crystallization:
The process of cooling a hot concentrated solution of a substance to obtain crystals is called crystallization.
The mixture containing solids in which the impurities may be either less soluble in the solvent or more soluble in the solvent then the solids are separated by crystallization.
For e g:
The impurities present in impure copper sulphate common salt and alum e.t.c can be separated by crystallization to obtain the respective pure substances.
The process of crystallization is used to purify a large number of water soluble solids.
