Why are lysosomes known as suicide bags?

when cell gets damaged during the disturbance in cellular metabolism,lysosomes may burst and the digestive enzymes thus released digest their own cell;
that is why lysosomes  known as  suicide bags

lysosomes are capable of digesting nucleic acid, polysaccharides, fats and proteins,etc.so along with these it also digest or damages its own cells by its own enzymes,which leads to the death of the cell.hence they are called the suicidal bags.
