1. linear motion - moving train , motion of fired bullet
2.rotatory motion / oscillatory motion- - spinning wheels of a car , rotating fan
3.uniform motion - rolling ball with constant speed , anything moving in a constant speed covering equal distance at equal intervals of time.
4.irregular motion - flying butterfly , flying bee
5.periodic motion - objects covering same distance in same periods of time

There are many types of motion.
1) Linear motion. Ex- Car traveling in a straight road, bullet shot from a gun.
2) Circular motion. Ex- motion of wheels, rotating blades of a fan.
3) Vibratory motion. Ex- beating of drum, striking a table.
4) Periodic motion. Ex- Rotation of earth, revolution of planets around sun.
5) Oscillatory motion. Ex- motion of pendulum, motion of swings.
6) Random motion. Ex- ball falling from building, accelarating car ETC............
