(i) Agro-based and mineral-based industry

In geography, Agro based industry usually depend on only agricultural products such as raw materials. Whereas mineral based industry depends upon mineral such as iron ore, aluminium etc.

1.Agro based industries use agricultural products but Mineral based industries use mineral ores as raw materials.
2.Example:Agro based --Cotten textie industry
                Mineral based--Iron and steel industry
