THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PLANET AND A COMET IS THAT A PLANET CAN SUPPORT LIFE, BUT A COMET CAN'T BECAUSE IT IS TOO COLD AND IT MOVES TOO FAST. A PLANET IS AN ASTRONOMICAL OBJECT THAT ORBITS A STAR OR SUN, AND THAT IT BIG ENOUGH TO BE ROUNDED BY ITS OWN GRAVITY.
