⏩The developments leading to the creation of Pakistan are as follows:-

⭕The Muslim League was of the view that Hindus and Muslims were totally different in ideas.

⭕The results of elections to convince the league the Muslims were in minority or in a democratic setup they may go and unrepresented.

⭕The Congress was not in the favour of forming a joint Congress leave government in the united provinces. this was not welcome and appreciated by the league.

⭕The act of British negotiations between the Congress and the league after the second world war failed and the league show itself as the only spokesperson of Indians Muslims.

⭕In this provincial elections the Congress did well in general constituensies but the league success in the seats reserved for Muslims was tremendous. This lead to more demands for a separate of Muslims.

⭕The Muslim League announced 6th August 1946 as direct action day. Riots broke out in Culcutta causing death of thousands of people. This initiated the spread of violence to different part of North India.

⭕The demand for the partition of India was finalized in the Pakistan was born. It was the plan given by Lord Mountbatten with started that India would be partioned in two. Pakistan would we created with the provinces of West Punjab, Sindh, North west frontier province, Sindh. The princely states could either join or remain independent. Mountbatten's plan was given legal effect by Indian Independence Act.
