Does pure water conduct electricity? If not, what can we do to make it conducting?

No pure water does not conduct electricity.we can mix salt ( NaCl) to make it a good conductor.becauae when impurities like salt dissolve in water it forms ions, and these ions make it possible for an electic current to pass through the solutipn.

Pure water is bad conductors of electricity although water shows the property of auto protolysis that it can break into H+ and OH- ions but surely impure water means which has some qty of salt in it conducts electricity when electricity is supplied as there is movements of ions towards opposite electrodes.
