Rally For Rivers is a campaign launched by Isha Foundation in 2017 to tackle the scarcity of water across rivers in India and instill awareness about protecting rivers. Sadhguru launched the campaign on September 3 from Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore.Rally for Rivers is a nationwide awareness campaign to save the Indian rivers. Water is a basic need of every living being and rivers are our lifelines. Many rivers are there that have been always full but today they are drying. They are DYING!      Rivers have been a source of food since pre-history. They are often a rich source of fish and other edible aquatic life, and are a major source of fresh water, which can be used for drinking and irrigation. Most of the major cities of the world are situated on the banks of rivers.

Rally for Rivers is a campaign that was launched in 201 by Isha Foundation,India. This campaign was formed in order to save rivers. In India, rivers have been at risk due to environmental and man made hazards. They are drying up which is not good for the survival of wildlife and man both. Therefore it is essential that steps are taken in order to save the river water.
