Black Hole is a great place in the space whose inside is completely black and its gravity is too strong to even pull a beam of sunlight in it. As the light passes through it the pull of it makes the light to enter into it where it is dissolved and so black holes are black.

We have many time studied about black hole ,black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying and its formed when many large stars run out of nuclear fuel in their cores.  and fact is that it can be small as an atom and it can also be ssoo big that we cant imagine and it affect time also .

........hope it helps u ..........

Astronomers think the object shown in this Chandra X-ray Observatory image (in box) may be an elusive intermediate-mass black hole. Located about 32 million light-years from Earth in the Messier 74 galaxy (M74), this object emits periodic bursts of x-rays at a rate that suggests it is much larger than a stellar-mass black hole but significantly smaller than the supermassive black holes found at the centers of galaxies. Few such middling black holes
