Between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries, three new Muslim empires emerged to rule much of Asia. These Muslim empires—the Ottoman, the Safavid, and the Mughal—brought Islam to new levels of power and influence. Choose any two of these empires and describe their similarities with each other and their differences.

Their similarities:

They were all Islamic empires.They were all Gun powder empires.They were less antisemitic than Europe.All of them fell because their technology lagged behind other powers.They all had harem sultans.They well all absolute monarchies.

Their differences:

Safavids were Shia where as the Ottomans and the Mughals were Sunni.The Mughals ruled over Hindu majority empire where as muslims were majority both in Ottoman and Safavid empires.The Safavids were the enemies of both the Ottomans and the Mughals.
