if it is a unit vector then it's modulus must be equal to 1
so 0.5^2+0.8^2+c^2 = 1
0.25+0.64+c^2 = 1
c^2 = 1-0.89 = 0.11
c = √0.11 = 0.34
hence the value of c=0.34
so 0.5^2+0.8^2+c^2 = 1

c = √0.11 = 0.34
