Let the no. of girls = x.

∴ no. of boys = (100 - x)

25 p. = Rs.25/100 =  1/4

15 p.= Rs.15/100 = 3/20

A/Q, x × 3/20 + (100 - x ) × 1/4 = 22

⇒ 3 x/20 + 25 - x/4 = 22

⇒ 3 x/ 20 - x/4 = 22 - 25

⇒ - 2 x /20 = - 3

⇒ 2 x = 60

∴ x = 30

so, no. of girls = 30.
