Explanation:

There is a strong and unique sense of religious tolerance in Nepal since the beginning.  There has not been any holy crusade or conflict as such till now. The Gopal kings and Kirant Dynasties used to follow Shaivism but equally respected other 's religions . The descendants of the Lichchavi king Mandev followed Shaivi.sm and Bhaishnav but he  himself constructed Manbihar as a tribute to Buddhism . At present too, there is religious tolerance. No religions dominates any other religions . Many religious sites in Nepal are found with deities of different religions together.
