New normal learning is an efficient way to learn even though we are in a pandemic. New normal learning is almost over and we are moving out the woods, But we still wear my mask and I social distance we need to play by all the rules. I find it stupefying   on   how   we   enjoyed   living   our   lives   yesterday   and   then suddenly woke up   living   a   life   that   we   are   not   used   to.   The   sudden   change overwhelmed me, and it was difficult for me to cope up with almost everything, especially with my studies. Just like other students, I have my fair share of ups and downs duringthese tough times and a forlorn hope to enroll in college. I wasn't able to take entranceexams   in   Universities   thus   I   ended   up   enrolling   in   a   private   school   which   reallychallenged our financial capacity. As a desperate student who doesn't want to be leftbehind, I continued to chase my dreams without really contemplating it. However on thebright side, I found a spark that later on ignited the hope within me.Being a student during this pandemic is wearisome. It entails a lot of problemsjust like not having a good place to study, struggles with internet connection and dealingwith unending distractions, that students find very difficult to deal with. Also, there aresome teachers that often give a lot of activities without giving any consideration thatcauses stress to students. Online class can really affect our mental health and the worstthing is that aside from posting our rants on social media, we do not have any outlet forour emotions anymore just like what we used to have before the pandemic, where weused to hangout with our classmates after school hours. We are now in a circumstancethat is far different from the life we had before the pandemic. For these reasons, as a student amidst this pandemic, hope and focus has beenaloof. I   realized   that self-learning is  very   frustrating   and  difficult  because   unlike   thetraditional class that we have before, there is no teacher that will explain to you thelessons anymore. I have to learn on my own and struggle with subjects that I cannotunderstand. I had to sit for hours trying to decipher chemical equations by watchingvideos on YouTube and finding myself later on being distracted by social media. Unableto understand a thing, it caused me distress and hopelessness to survive this schoolyear.
