We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given that Total number of Tables and chairs are required for 50 students.

This means that 50 chairs and 50 tables are required in total.

Now,

Cost of 1 table = Rs 180

Cost of 50 tables = 50 × 180 = Rs 9000

Cost of 1 chair = Rs 220

Cost of 50 chairs = Rs 50 × 220 = Rs 11000

Total cost of tables and chair = Cost of 50 chairs + cost of 50 tables

= 9000 + 11000

= 20,000
