Hey mate it is so beacuse sometimes there is error in DNA copying which leads that the DNA copies is not identical

Because DNA replication is not 100 percent accurate.
In case of a sexual reproduction, the diversity is even greater because the child gets genes from both the parents this means that each trait can be influenced both by maternal and paternal DNA.Thus there can be two versions of each trait in a child.
