Britishers called India a land of magic and snake charmers. Even after Independence superstitious elements cast their shadows on the 21st century India. I was shocked that all the news channels were flooded with tarot readers, astro gurus, kundali experts on a fresh Sunday morning. Even educated people like lawyers, doctors, teachers are wearing gemstones, twisting their names, performing havans etc under the influence of these TV shows. News channels must take responsibility and remove these superstition spreading shows immediately.
