'The wreck of the Titanic', Benjamin Peck Keith, has done a great job in honoring the heroes of the Titanic ship wreck, the Captain and his crew. Keith is an American poet, who exhibits his poetic style very profoundly. Keith has helped us recollect the tragedy of the Titanic, how the ship sank in the ice cold waters of the ocean on 14th April, 1912.
He captures the bravery of the crew members, in playing the band while the ship is sinking and people on board are sent away in small boats. He compares this heroic act with the history of Waterloo,Trafalgar and Alamo. With his rhyming words and metaphor, Keith has brought out elegantly the Titanic's memories and it lingers forever in our hearts
