Blood Donation Programme Held
Sujon Ahmed,Sirajganj, 16 September: Recently a blood donation campaign was organized by Gafargaon Youth Club under the leadership of Shamim Ahmed, a local youth leader. The students of Gafargaon Govt. College were the main blood donors. The people of the locality voluntarily participated in the programme as a part of their service to the humanity.
The local Member of the Parliament was present in the function and eulogized the youth of the locality for organizing such a noble programme. In his speech he said, "In an age when people are unimaginably self-centered, where everybody is becoming highly materialistic, the youth of Gafargaon had made the sun shine otherwise."
The Principal of the Gafargaon Govt. College also spoke on the occasion speaking highly of the students. He was proud of his students and thanked them heartily amidst cheerful claps of the participants.
