Newton placed 2 triangular prisms in inverted position with respect to each other. He then let white light pass through them. What was his observation on screen? Draw diagram for this experiment

In the first prism surface , the dispersion of the white light occurs which enables the white light to split into its respective colours....... As it passes into the second prism which is inverted the light incident will converge and the emergent light will be white in colour!!
