NH3is liquid while PH3 is a gas, why?

Due to presence of intermolecular hydrogen bonds between N and H

this type of bond is absent in PH3 as electronegativity is absent in P so no such bonds are present between P and H

due to the size of the nitrogen is small and also due to the high shielding effect of 3s and 2p orbitals, the ph3 molecule is loosely bound hence due to low attractive force and more repulsive force the ph3 molecule is gas. but nh3 has a very strong nuclear force and less shielding effect it is liquid in nature.
