The donkey is described a lonely creature , who is not very friendly but calm and quite brave and courageous because even in such a miserable condition he stands in the meadow all day long.

Answer:the donky is bony and ownerless widowed and worn, knowbble-kneed lonely and grey .He is lean,lame and old. Even though he is old,yet there is gumption under his skin and a clear calm light in his eye. His bray is not heart and Hale.
