NIGHT VOICES poem explanation:

The moral of the poem "Night voices" is that parents should be sincere in doubts clearing of their children. They should not lie; instead should tell the truth as children trust their parents the most.

On the other side, the children should have a trust on their parent's saying, instead of searching truth by themselves which can end up in problems.

“Night voices” is a poem which is about a conversation between a young boy and his father. The young boy asks about the voices and whispers that he hear in the woods. The first two stanzas are all about the child's doubts.

The last three stanzas can confuse the readers as no one knows whether his father was killed as it is mentioned that his father was staring at the door and smiling or whether the child was a psycho who is imagining the whispers.
