Rs. 100 is the face value of each share.
Niharika invested Rs. 1,00,000.
Therefore, she owns Rs. 1,00,000 / 100 = 1000 shares
40% dividend means 40% of the face value, which is equal to Rs. 40
Therefore, Niharika's share of the dividend = Rs. 40 x 1000 shares that she owns
= Rs. 4000
