Let price of 1 ticket for adult be x and for 1 student be y.

x+10y =100.

8x+y=89. eq 2

Using x=100-10y in eq 2

8(100-10y) +y =89

800-80y+y=89.

-79y=-711

y =9

Putting y =9 in eq 2

8x +9=89

8x=80

x =10

So, the price of adult ticket is rs 10 and for student ticket is rs 9
