Given that ninth member spent Rs. 8 more than the xˉ

Therefore, the amount spent by the ninth member is xˉ+8 

Hence, xˉ=9(12×8)+xˉ+8

⟹9xˉ=96+xˉ+8

⟹8xˉ=104

⟹xˉ=13

Total money spent by them is (12×8)+13+8=117
