Answer:Gain 46%

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Bananas Purchased 2400 or 2400/12 = 200 dozens @ 15 Rs. So purchase price = 200×15 = 3000

Now we have to find selling price

When 2 bananas sold for Rs. 4

Then 1350 bananas = 1350×4/2 = 2700 Rs.

Number of remaining bananas 2400-1350=1050 bananas which she sold

5 for Rs. 8

When 5 bananas sold for Rs. 8

Then 1050 bananas =1050×8/5 = 1680 Rs.

Total Selling Price 2700+1680=4380

- Total Purchase Price 3000= Profit Rs. 1380

And Profit Percent= Profit × 100/Cost or Purchase Price

1380×100/3000 =46%
