When phenol react with dilute HNO3 at low temperature(10C) then respective ortho and pata nitrophenol product is formed


When phenol is treated with concentrated nitric acid in presence of concentrated H2SO4 at high temperature then 2,4,6-Trinitrophenol that is picnic acid is formed
