Nitrogen and phosphorous belong to group 15 of the periodic table.
1.)Which of these will be more elecro negative. Why?
2.)State whether they are metallic or non-metallic.

a)  nitrogen will be more electro negative.
fluorine,oxygen and nitrogen.those are the three most electro negative elements. chlorine is very close behind nitrogen,perhaps they are tied.then comes bromine,iodine followed by sulphur,carbon,hydrogen and phosphorous.
b)  gaseous nonmetal - nitrogen.
     solid nonmetal - phosphorous.
