Nitrogen forms n2 but phosphorus forms p4 at room temperature. Why

Nitrogen is di-atomic because it's atomic radi (atomic size) so it can form multiple bonds with each other so it forms N2

And phosphorus is tetra-atomic it has larger atomic radi (atomic size) so it can form single bond with other phosphorus atoms and form P4
