nitrogen is essential for plant growth but plants cannot take it in the gaseous form like the carbondioxide or oxygen. the pulse plant or leguminous plants have root nodules contain rhizobium bacteria. theses bacteria are well know for their ability to fix nitrogen and provide it to the plant in tpreturn for shelter and nutrition. since the pulse plant or leguminous plants are already getting nitrogen in dissolved form naturally, the farmer don't need to add any intravenous fertilizer.
