let the speed of 2 cars be x, y
Car A= d=s×t
=d=x×8
D=8x
Car B =d=s×t
=d=y×8
=d=8y
Now,( d of car a - d of car b =80) so,
8x-8y=80.......eq. 1
Now,
Car A =d=s×t
=d=x×1/3
=d=1/3x
Car B =d=y×1/3
=d=1/3y
Now,( d of car a + d of car b =80)so,
1/3x+1/3y=80...... Eq. 2
Now, u have two equations u can solve them by any method...
