NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H2O
There is no noticeable change. The solution is colorless and remains same. Thus no observation is noticed when dil.HCl is added to sodium hydroxide

a) HCl + NaOH → NaCl + H₂O
b) HCl + Na₂CO₃ → NaCl + H₂O + CO₂
c) The litmus would change to red colour as HCl being an acid changes the colour from blue to red.
d) 2HCl + Zn → ZnCl₂ + H₂
:) Hope this Helps !!!
