Hi there,

☆To calculate no of molecules u must have the number of moles for this sample

☆Number of moles is equal sample mass ÷ molar mass

●Given

Sample mass = 4.8 gms

Atomic mass of S = 32

Atomic mass of O = 16

☆So, the molar mass of SO2 = sum of atomic mass which equals

32+ 16×2 = 64 g/mol

☆The number of moles = 4.8÷64 = 0.075 mol

☆The number of molecules is equal number of moles × avogadros no

Nu = n × NA = 0.075×6.02×10^23

Nu = 4.5×10^22 molecule
