CH3NO2 has 6 sigma and 1 pi bond.
As you can see C atom makes 3 bonds with H atom and 1 bond with N atom. It makes 4 sigma bond. Now futher N makes 2 bonds with O atom one single bond which is sigma and other double bond which 1 sigma and 1 pi bond. So in total 6 sigma and 1 pi bond.
