All right lets see every question one by one:-
Q - 4
(A) Uranus is observed to have a blue-green color because of the presence of Methane in its atmosphere. Methane gas doesn't seem blue-green on its own but the temperature on Uranus are extremely low which makes Methane gas to appear blue-green in color.
(B) Venus is hottest even when Mercury is the closest planet to Sun because the atmosphere of Venus is composed of 96 % of Carbon Dioxide which is a green house gas and doesn't let heat escape. While on the other hand Mercury radiates heat as fast as it gains heat. Due to this phenomenon, Venus is the hottest planet.
(C) The shape and size of the moon seem to change every day due to the phenomenon of the phases of the moon. Moon revolves around the Earth and during this process, the shadow of Earth is cast upon the moon, not letting the sunlight to reach it. Another phenomenon is that the orbit of moon around Earth is not equidistant form Earth. At some point Moon is nearest to the Earth while at a point it is farthest from the Earth. These both phenomenon create the illusion that the shape and size of the moon changes.
(D) Every day when you look at the sky from the position, its not the same sky you were looking yesterday. The position of Earth keeps changing in its orbit. So, this makes us feel that a particular star has risen 4 minutes earlier than yesterday while it is the fact that it is us who have changed the place we last saw that star.
(E) Comets are composed of frozen gases and keep revolving around a star. When it gets close enough to ta star, these gases start to change from solid state in to gaseous form due to the heat of the sun. That is why the tail of comet seems to point away from the star. If they are far enough from the star in the cold space, they are hard to be observed.
Q - 5
Artificial satellites create a link between the user and itself through the use of a transponder. It amplifies the signal it receives. It uses electromagnetic waves to send the signals. These waves spread over the curve over the earth allowing a large area to be sent signals at the same time and at long distances.
That's it !
