Plastic bags are basically bags made out of plastic. They are used to put items in it so that you don't have to carry so many things using your hands. It's a common form of packaging. The problem now is that after we use plastic bags, we throw them away. Plastic bags would take centuries to decompose unlike any other trash. If more people uses plastic bags, the more rubbish we have on planet earth. Some people throw plastic bags into the ocean or sea that causes some marine animals such as sea turtles to think that it is food. They eat the plastic bag up and choke to death. Some countries banned the use of plastic bags and encouraged the people to use recyclable bags to carry our groceries and stuff. :D
