except re all Nobel gases are very low reactive

dassristi2016: they don't like to gain electrons (which would make them have an electronic configuration of group 1 elements which are highly reactive). ... So to force an electron to join an atom, a lot of energy must be expended (and put "into" the atom), and thus a positive enthalpy.

nobel gases have positive electron gain enthalpy because Nobel gas has full filled octavte in their most outermost shell .so it doesn't easily accept electron .it has very tendency to accept electron ,to accept electron nobel gas element have to loose energy hence it has positive eletron gain enthalpy
