An ion is surrounded by other ion from all the direction . But covalent and coordinate bond are formed by one side only hence are directional . ... ionic bonds are non directional because it is the electrostatic force between two opposite charges,position of negative and positive charges does not matter in these bonding.

\huge{Non\: Directional\: Bond}

➡These are present in \underline{ionic\: compound}
such as : HCl✔✔

➡ because an ion has the same attraction from all directions for an ion of opposite charge. Explanation: This means that packing efficiency in the crystal lattice determines the arrangement of ions in a crystal. There is no preferred direction for the bonds.
