Non metals do not react with acid because non-metals accept electron from other so they cannot donate Hydrogen ion to the acid with which they are reacting so there is no reaction.

But there are exceptions also like phosphorus,carbon etc. For example:-

Carbon react with sulphuric acid producing CO2,SO2 and water.
