You can solve such types of questions orally if you understood this

The later consecutive even or odd number always will be 2 more than the previous number.

It means that second number will be 2 more than first number, third number will be 4 more than first number and the fourth number will be 6 more than first number.

If you subtract 2 from second number, 4 from third number and 6 from fourth number then all the numbers will be equal to one another.

If you subtract (2+4+6) or 12 from the sum of the numbers (27*4) or 108, new sum will be (108–12) = 96

This sum or 96 will be the sum of four equal numbers so first number will be 96/4 or 24

Largest number will be 24+6 = 30
